MetaTrader 4 Platform for Forex Trading and Technical Analysis

Hello ladies and gentlemen here, I am a new trader wannabe (as above indicated) and have been looking at charts and figures and methods to trade.
Previously as I know nuts about platforms, I started off with iq option (thanks to the massive amount of ads) and effectively lost everything in their demo account since I understood nothing.
A friend of mine then recommended me metatrader, which I'm currently on platform 5 and have effectively gotten consistent success and profit off their demo account on forex - went from 100k to 60k, learnt from my mistakes and now back to 120k from 60k all in 2 months.
I'm currently looking for platform to start live for the first time, but due to the small amount of capital I'll be using at the start <$1k, I'm unaware of the withdrawal fees/charges of more or less all the platforms as they're pretty well concealed.
My main question is, which platform is recommended to incur least fees and charges with regards to account withdrawal for low capital?
I understand that this means there may be a different; albeit marked up, sales charge during trades which is acceptable to me as long as I rake a profit but I want to be transparent about the amount I am withdrawing from the account.
Is the platform currently used metatrader a good option? My friend declared there's no withdrawal charges and digging around I can't find any myself.
